Adobe Halloween

Adobe is Halloween central!  My brother and brother-in-law work for them so they get us extra wristbands every year to sneak us in.  They deck it out and really make it fun for the kids.  This year, while waiting in the super long line to get in, they had random circus acts performing.  Genius!  I didn't even realize we waited in line for 10 minutes.  I wish I would have gotten out my camera in the line but I was too mesmerized by the juggling unicyclists, the amazing yo-yoist, the orb man, and the random guys walking around with huge snakes, tarantulas, and scorpions (yes they were real).  When we were inside, it didn't disappoint.  Each section is decked out differently and this section was angry birds.  The kids LOVED that.  I mean what kid wouldn't nowadays?!

The big wigs did Toy Story and of course the boys thought they were in heaven.

On a side note, every year the big wigs base their costumes around being able to use...little people, midgets, dwarfs...what's the proper term?  (last year, snow white & the 7 dwarfs)  They don't work there, I'm pretty sure they pay them to be there.  Anywho, does anyone else find this a bit random and a little bit awkward?

Not really sure why but there was a leprechaun sitting and playing the fiddle as we walked by and Coop just started busting out the moves.  Then, in cue to Coop's dancing the leprechaun got up and started dancing too.  It was awesome!!!

Then we hit storybook land and look what we found?

Their box!  They fit right in!

Once again, an  awesome Adobe Halloween.  We are so lucky to be able to go every year!

The Big Reveal

Halloween is big in this house as many of you know.  Costumes are thought up months in advance and preparations are started not too long after that.  So here they are, in all their glory.
I bribed the boys with candy and was just going to snap a few pictures but since they were all decked out I decided to bring out the professional stuff (a.k.a white sheet) but of course after that, Carter decided he did not want to cooperate.  So unfortunately these are the best pictures of them together just not the best background.

Moving on to the better pictures...

Halloween Cruise

We went with the Gundersens & Dahmers for FHE on the Halloween cruise.  Kind of fun, kind of short, kind of expensive, kind of fun to do just once.  But of course the kids had a great time anyway.

Trip to the Petting Zoo

After preschool we headed up to the Thanksgiving Point petting zoo to get some hands on learning.  Carter got to tag along since he was the little brother.  Lucky guy!  We got in some pony rides, animal feeding, and a wagon ride.

Seriously, this little half smile gets me everytime!

The other boys in preschool.

I was laughing so hard when I took this picture.  Coop was telling this goat, "No, no, this isn't for you little guy, its for your friend!"  Oh how I love this kid!

Carter's face in this picture pretty much describes what he thinks of feeding animals.  He's just not a fan of the slobber after!
