Merry Christmas Photoshoot
When this time of year rolls around, I always get so excited for the boys to wear their Christmas outfits . This year I based their whole outfits off these hats I found at Children's Place. I have weakness for hats and I new as soon as I saw them that they needed to have them. I also made their bow ties. I figured the old-school bow ties went well with the old-school hats.
(oh and might I just add that Coop & Carter have almost the exact same size head...Carter's is 1/4 inch bigger :-)

Temple Square
We try to go see the lights up at Temple square when we can. This year it was a bit chilly and when I say chilly I mean it was frigid! 20 degrees. But we bundled the boys up, literally, and braved the cold weather with our friends Jake and Jess.
Can you see his little eyes looking up at you in the picture on the right?

Decorating the Tree
I love the boys excitement for decorations. I had that same excitement when it came time to decorate our house when I was young. It makes my heart happy. Even when Coop decides all the ornaments should be hung on one branch and Carter hangs all his ornaments on other ornaments.
Thanksgiving
Well let's just say that this Thanksgiving will not be on my top 10 list. I spent Wednesday with the Pope family and then fell violently sick to food poisoning that night and was in bed for the remainder. I missed out on Thanksgiving completely! All that deliciously salty food and I missed it all. I still get depressed when I think I about it. Anyhow, here are the 4 pictures I have from that blessed week. As you can see I made an appearance for the family picture (in my pj pants) but shortly after rushed back to my bed and slept the rest of the day.

We went to Cancun...
Once again, thanks to Caleb and his hard work over the summer, he earned us a free trip to Cancun to an all-inclusive resort. Since we had just taken an "adults only" trip in July, we decided to bring the boys along. I think they had a good time! You'll notice there's only pictures on the beach and that's because this is the place we spent most of our time. The boys couldn't get enough of the waves and sand. the perfect play-place.
See his the little strip of his back when he bends over? Ya, should have noticed that then but didn't think much of it until we got back to the hotel that night and he had a bright red strip across his lower back. Felt kinda bad for the kid!
Body surfing- We did alot of this and it was super fun! The waves were perfect for it!
We did meet up with my parents and sister & bro-in-law while there, but my sis has those pictures. Once I get them I'll blog them too. She got some good shots of the boys hand-feeding seagulls.
