Once again, a BIG thanks to our good friend Betty! She has pulled off some amazing pictures of our family. I aspire to be like her some day.
Here are a few of our favorites.

Frustrated with Blogger

Does anybody get super frustrated with posting things on Blogger? It won't let me format it just how I want so it ends up all jumbled looking. I spend forever on it and then just end up pushing the Publish Post button in frustration just to get it over with. Any suggestions?

Fun filled Week!

We were lucky enough to have my parents here last week and boy did we have a good time! Coop just couldn't get
enough of them. We wen
t to the zoo, saw a baseball game, went to a bounce house,
went bowling, went swimming, and just enjoyed each other's company. I love that my parents make the effort to
visit us every summer. I know my boys will have a great relationship with their Grandma & Papaw because of it! We are missing them already!!

AT THE ZOO
These were the coolest water statues. Coop and Carter were lovin them!

BOWLING

Notice the scores, the bottom score of 126 is Cooper...not sure how he
beat us all but he did!

BASEBALL GAME

MONKEY JOE'S BOUNCE HOUSE
We went ot one of the these before we came out here for the summer and Coop couldn't climb anything by himself. This time was such a different experience. He did everything by himself and had a blast. It's amazing how much they grow in such a short time!

Brotherly Love

I LOVE when Coop makes him laugh!

Office BBQ

We have a fun time with Caleb's office. This was a BBQ we had in the morning before the guys headed off to work. It was a nice relaxing time followed by some intense swimming relay races.
Our favorite babysitter Cadee with our friend's daughter Ady.
The single guys of the office.
HA!
The cute couples of our office.

Expelliarmus!

With the opening of the 6th Harry Potter movie this week, we decided it would only be appropriate to celebrate with a full on wizarding party equipped with Butterbeer, Chocolate Frogs, and a Golden Snitch Cake. Everyone arrived as their favorite HP character and we allgorged ourselves on Honeyduke's sweets while taking an O.W.L. on the infamous Harry Potter himself. The most knowledgeable wizard received an extra large Dementor Relief Bar and anoriginal bag of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Bean. We also had a bubble blowing contest with Drubble's Best Blowing Gum and voted on the Best Costume. The winner of that was of course Harry Potter himself and his owl Hedwig (Cam & Betty). We finished off the party by showing the 5th Harry Potter in order to prepare ourselves for the upcoming 6th. What a super fun party!

The Invitation

Much cuter than in the movie :-)
From left to Right: Victor Krum, Luna Lovegood, & Moaning Murtle; Lilly & James Potter; Harry Potter & Luna Lovegood; Hogwarts Students
(Please notice the crests in the background...they took FOREVER to make!)

Mr. & Mrs. Weasley, Harry Potter, & Dobby the house elf
(Notice Caleb's red hair, we were about to do mine when I glanced at the bottle where it said do not spray on fine or light blonde hair...ummmm, just wasn't worth it to me...dang it! It would have been so great!)

Winners of the Best Costume Award
Harry & his owl Hedwig (perched on his shoulder of course)

Dobby's all worn out

Drubble's best blowing gum contest...although this is a huge bubble, he didn't even win!
Relaxing and getting ready to watch HP #5

So the only downside to this party was Coop having to have his first experience with throwing up. We narrowed it down to 2 things; #1 He either ate way too much candy (it was all just sitting out and who knows how many times he went back for more) or #2 He got a hold of a Mr. Goodbar (peanut allergy). Either way he ended up throwing up all over my sweet goodwill costume (nice to be able to just throw that away) and later on in the night all over his pillow and bed. Poor kid! He was totally fine the next day though. Other than that, we think the party was a big hit.

New Lens

I got a new lens* recently and I'm trying to decide if I like it...what do you think?

*Any photographers out there, it's a Canon 50mm f/1.8

AFV Material

Not sure he likes it...

Just milk has not been cutting it for Carter lately so we decided to start him on rice cereal. He gave the same face with every spoonfull but kept eating. I'm sure he'll become a fan real quick!
