We got this song from library time and it's his favorite! I just love his face! He's trying to do a tough roar :-)

Family in New Mexico
We love visiting family in New Mexico! A few of Caleb's aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents live there and it's always such a nice visit for us when we go down. We drove down for just 2 days but it was totally worth it! We had a great time chatting and introducing our new little guy. Here are a few pictures with the fam.
It was super cute, Cooper just loved his Great-Grandad Pope. He got right up there and sat himself right next to him. He even shared his pretzels with him and that's saying something.

Daddy-Cooper Time
For the last 4 weeks Caleb and Cooper have been going to parent-tot swim class twice a week. I signed them up for it months ago as a special time that Cooper could have with his daddy after the baby was born. Coop and I participated in this class last year and we had a great time. This year was even better. He looked forward to that special Daddy-Cooper time so much! He did really well too. He loves to blow bubbles, float on his back, be thrown in the air, splash, & kick. The only down side is that he now has an aversion to the song 'Ring around the Rosie' due to the fact that at the end of that song, he went under water. But as you can see, he was all smiles during swimming lessons and we can't wait for summer!

Sweet Brother
Maybe when they're older and fighting I can show them this and prove how cute they were :-)
Happy Valentine's Day?
So it may be March 14th instead of February 14th but this picture just had to be seen!

Are we mean parents? ;-)
And this was our actual Valentine's day (celebrated the night before with my brother and sister). Beautifully made dinner by our husbands followed by a rousing game of Loaded Questions...great game to learn alot about each other...even the things you may not want to know.

A Perfect Recipe
Smart-Dawg
- 2 J- Dawgs
- 1 hot dog from home
- 2 pickles
- Special sauce
- 1 Rootbeer
- 2 beach chairs
- 3 pairs of sunglasses
- 60 degree weather
- 2 Smart-Cookies*
Pack up the car with beach chairs, sunglasses, & kids. Make sure to bring 1 hot dog from home instead of paying good money when your kid doesn't care where it came from. Order 2 J-Dawg polish dogs. Smother with special sauce. Add a pickle or 2. Fill your cup with good old fashioned root beer. Sit down in the 60 degree weather. Add 2 smart cookies for dessert and you've got the perfect recipe for a family dinner.
*for those of you who do not know what smart cookie is, just imagine your favorite ice cream sandwiched between 2 homemade cookies of your choice. There really is nothing better!
