Triplets

So my friend is having triplets (crazy, I know) and she asked me to make some hats for her.
I thought they turned out super cute and I can not wait to see those sweet babies in them!
I'll definitely post a picture when they arrive.

Mini Hike

We're back!  In Utah that is.  And to celebrate, we went on a hike up at Alta to reacquaint ourselves with the beautiful mountains here.  Unfortunately right before we got started a bee flew onto Coop's nose.  Coop tried to cover his nose with his hands therefore trapping the bee on his nose where it quickly stung him and flew off (hopefully to die a terrible death!).  The poor guy was horrified but luckily we now know that he is not allergic to bees.  I hate bees!

I put some mud on it to cool it down and suck the poison out.
He said it made him feel better.

Coop is growing so fast, I can't keep up with him
(notice the too small sweatshirt.  Its a 3T and he is 3 but I guess not the typical 3 year old size.)

Yes I was there too, although you will hardly ever see me in a picture :-)

Grandpa's Apprentice

There's nothing Cooper likes better than to "help".  Dishes, making pancakes, sweeping, helping Daddy, you name it, he wants to help you with it.  So while in Wenatchee, my Dad was so good about letting Cooper help him in his shop.  He spent a full 2 hours down there one day helping my Dad.
Coop's a very task-oriented little boy and is very focused once you give him a job.  It's fun to watch and I'm pretty sure my Dad loved having him down there!

A first

This is the first time I have ever participated in making apple cider and talk about FUN!  I loved it!  There's nothing like a bunch of friends and family doing some manual labor together, laughing, talking and having fun!  There was a job for everyone and the kids could help with everything.
Coop was in heaven!
The machine they used was so vintage and cool...made we want to use it for pictures ;-)

 It was Delish!

All things Apple

Its apple season in Wenatchee and we got to take part in it this year.
*Picking apples  *Raw Apples  *Apple Cider  *Apple Pie  *Apple Cake  *Apple Sauce  *Apple Filling
And probably anything else "apple" you can think of!

Sage Hills

Nothing like a good ole' hike on Conference weekend.
The hills behind my parents house in Wenatchee.

So glad Coop has a tons of cousins to play with!

Habitat for Humanity Gala

My mom is involved with the Habitat for Humanity here in Wenatchee and so we were invited to a formal dinner for it.  It was fun to get all dressed up and eat out with my family.

Rise all Loyal Cougs!

If you are not a BYU student/alumni/fan, this will not make sense to you.
However, if you are, feel free to sing along!
*see if you can catch the words snow, you, & BYU (and of course the ra-ra's at the end)

Last of Seattle

There was a new park opening in Seattle the last Saturday we were there.  We hit up all the fun free stuff there and enjoyed the wonderful weather.
Free Face painting
Cultural Dances

And the best part of all, the water fountains.  We didn't know they would be there so the boys were lookin a little white trash in their jeans and diaper ;-)  Oh well, I had a blast watching them thoroughly enjoy themselves!
It was freezing water.  Carter had to come hug my leg to warm up every couple minutes

This was such a "seattle" picture to me :-)

Good bye Seattle!
