We miss you Daddy!
An Early Valentine's
Caleb took me out for an early Valentine's date since he is gone for the real thing. He surprised me with a rose, a cute card, a beautiful poem, and best of all, a check to pay off the rest of our car! We now own our car fair and square ;-) We then went to The Roof up in Salt Lake for a plethera of delicious, gormet food. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I sure do love my huddy dubby!
My Huddy Dubby
I've never done one of these but I liked the topic of this one...well, I actually love the topic :-D
1. What's his name? Caleb Francis Pope

2. How long have you been married? Sometimes I forget and it's only been 2 1/2 years. I can't imagine how I am going to remember after 22.
3. How long did you date? I was dating someone when I first met Caleb on a Sunday night in September. After some scintilating conversation with Caleb, I broke up with my boyfriend the next day and Caleb called me every day after that. But I don't know when we "officially" started dating. I guess I'd say 6 months before we got engaged.

4. How old is he? 26...wow! He's now closer to 30 than 20 ;-)
5. Who eats more? Unfortunately I do. But he can definitely out drink me. He can down soda effortlessly.

6. Who said "I love you" first? Caleb played a dirty trick on me early in our relationship, we were sitting together alone and he looks me in the eye and says "Cassi, I (pause) l-l-l-ike you alot!" But the real thing was even better when after we were apart for a few days for Thanksgiving, he came back and told me that he did indeed, not just like me, but love me!
7. Who is taller? Caleb! 6'4" That's what attracted me to him in the first place.

8. Who sings better? We decided that we both would not make it on American Idol, but we both love to sing.
9. Who is smarter? Caleb...he can pull off A's & B's with no studying. I can only pull that off with many hours of studying.

10. Whose temper is worse? Outwardly, probably Caleb's. I'm pretty even-tempered most of the time.
11. Who does the laundry? I do. Although the clean clothes may sit unfolded for a while on the couch ;-) I don't mind folding the laundry, but I hate putting them away.

12. Who does the dishes? I do, unless I call "not-it" first after dinner or I ask him to and then he'll do them.
13. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I'd have to say we both do. I make Caleb cuddle on me so we both end up on my side. He's so good to me!

14. Who pays the bills? Well, Caleb brings in the dough, I just write the checks.
15. Who mows the lawn? Caleb, although I wouldn't mind doing it once in a while. I used to do it back at home. I love making the nice, neat lines & it's a good work out. I used to sprint the length of our backyard while pushing the lawnmower. That way you get 2 things done at once! I love that!

16. Who cooks dinner? I do, unless Caleb is home and then he just wants to go out to dinner. (My cooking is not that bad, but what wife can compete with places like Tucanos and PF Changs?)
17. Who drives when you are together? Caleb. With the car seat in back of the passenger seat, he doesn't really fit if he sits there.

18. Who is more stubborn? I don't think either of us are stubborn, but if we want something, we both are pretty persistant ;-)
19. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Caleb. He's real good at saying sorry even though I should say it first some times.

20. Whose parents do you visit most? Neither, but my parents come to visit us most.
21. Who proposed? Caleb and he totally took me by surprise. Everything we did that night was based around the theme of "Forever" (even the car we drove, the Infinity). The ring was inside a children's book where the last line said "I love you through and through, yesterday, today, & forever too".

22. Who has more friends? He has lots of ski buddies during the winter that he hangs out with every time he goes skiing, but I have lots of friends that I do stuff with all year long.
24. Who wears the pants in the family? Well, he brings in the bacon, but at home I think we share the responsibilities.
Hope you liked a little insight into my life. I'd love to hear about yours!

I just can't help myself!
Just look at these pictures and tell me you don't think he's the cutest little guy you've ever seen! I think my favorite part of every day is deciding what Coop is going to wear. I just can't help myself!
This last picture makes me laugh! So many faces, I just can't capture them all ;-)

Standing
This is Coop's new thing. He will climb on everything and anything. He's getting a lot better now, not so much bonking! The problem he faces now is that he can't get down from the standing position. We're working on it though! Also, you'll se that we purchased a gate recently to keep him out of trouble and it has become his new favorite standing tool. He may look like he's in jail but he doesn't mind!
...
Look at that little booty!
Look, Mom. One hand!
...
Now, how does this work?
