1 more for Halloween

I've been wanting to host a Halloween Party for years and I finally did it!   It was a huge success and we all had so much fun together.  We set up an official photo studio for the event to document everyone's awesome costumes!  It was everything I hoped it would be and more.  Thanks for coming and making it fun!

Random Phone Pictures

I don't know about you, but I rarely plug my phone into my computer.  When I finally get around to doing it, I have a mess of random pictures taken with my phone.  I can't not document these because most of them were important enough to document even with my less than great phone camera.  So here they are, in no specific order with explanations as needed.

National Donut Day

Entertaining Carter at Coop's swimming lessons.

Napping in the swimming pool.

Zoo

Everything's bigger at Costco

Smores at the neighbors

Found Carter like this one afternoon

Awesome face painter at a friend's birthday party

This never happens, which is why I had to document it.  It was 6:30pm.

Coop's sunflower he planted and watered...it was HUGE!

Playing with Carter's hair

Water Fight

Brightest rainbow I've ever seen.

Coop's 1st soccer game

Chug, chug, chug

Favorite place in Indy

The only happy moment when grocery shopping.

The whole reason I go to football games...cougar tails!

Enough time has passed since this tragic event that I can now talk about it (it happened in July).  This is what I looked like after  fighting with a mountain lion...or maybe it was face planting when running down a steep, grass hill....its all a little blurry now.  I think I'll go with the mountain lion story.  Its so totally less embarrassing.  I will say, I had no idea what I looked like after the fact and thought I was totally fine until a friend came running down the hill telling me to wipe the blood off my face.  I didn't start crying till I saw the damage and realized I was going to have to tell everyone how it happened.  Lesson learned, I am not as young and agile as I used to be... obviously.

PS  I still have quite the noticeable scar on my forehead.  I think I burned off all the freckles on that spot so it sticks out like a sore thumb!

A little more Halloween

Just a few more Halloween pics...so I'm a little behind!  No judging!

For all who asked, I was Sally from the book (see picture below)...there was really no other character I could be.  I did put a latex nose on to try and add to the costume but even I admit, it was kind of lame.  But the boys looked good!

House to house.  The boys did great and were super excited.  They even walked for over half of it and then hopped in the wagon for the rest.  I love our little red wagon.

Coop has been way into drawing his own pictures.  This was his version of a Halloween picture with the scary tree, the fence, pumpkin and ghosts.
You may think I am done with Halloween pictures but no, no I have yet to post the pictures from our infamous Halloween Party (partially because they are on someone else's camera).  One of these days I will get around to that...maybe by Christmas :-)
