Scaredy Cat

It only looks like a cat when it's lit, otherwise it looks like a mad pumpkin. Oh well, we had fun anyway!

Strike 1

We were watching the World Series game tonight and Coop started trying to copy the pitcher. I love how he has to hold on to the wall to do it!

A Week in Paradise

If you are looking for a getaway to a Tropical Island, St. Lucia is the place for you! Thanks to a cousin getting married there, and some very generous parents, Caleb and I were able to stay at the Windjammer all inclusive resort for a whole week (no kids allowed)...talk about heaven! We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with my parents & sister and bro-in-law (all 5 of the other siblings were invited but unfortunately could not attend), with the private beach not a minute away. It really was a once in a lifetime experience and we are so grateful to Grandma AJ (Caleb's mom) for watching Coop and to my parents for footing the bill, (I guess we are just great company ;-) Here are just a few pics of the week...not in any particular order.

The pool that was about 100 feet from the beach...may sound silly but it was quite refreshing to go from salty beach to non-salty water.

The bride walked down this tropical aisle.

And here is my cousin Ricky and his bride Molly.

And our little family all gussied up for the wedding.

Ziplining in the rainforest...I was not able to partcipate in this one but Caleb said it was fun.

Super cute outfits! Let's be honest, who can really wear these and look cute?

We cycled up to this waterfall and had a blast playing in it! (Please disregard the very white bodies!)

On the Catamaran, a party boat we were on the night before the wedding with the whole wedding party. Let's just say there was plenty to drink on that boat!

The sunset from the boat. Did you know that the sun emits a green spark the moment before it sets? Pretty cool!
This what the Windjammer resort looks like from the boat.

We had beach olympics (made up by my parents) that conisted of Pong Luge, Marsh-put, and 3 legs...great games but would take way too long to explain. We all got little medals for winning.

Just chillin with our favorite drinks, virgin Pina Colada (I think I had a total of 25 throughout the trip, they were delicious!)
Mmmmmmm...I miss those drinks!

The view from our balcony.

Typical dinners at the restuarants on the resort.

We had so much fun playing on the beach with no cares and no worries but we were also very happy to get back to our little boy after a whole week of not seeing him. It's good to be home again!

True Blue, through & through

So it's Homecoming week here at BYU and for the first time in both our college careers, we decided to participate in the festivities of the week. Today was "True Blue Football" and I so wish I would have taken part in this mass of foam in previous years! It was so fun and I felt a little slighted since I couldn't participate to the fullest extent while being prego. Cooper couldnt' get enough of it though and watching him was almost enough to quench my foam experience. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this activity, it is meerly huge amounts of blue foam spread across football fields and slip n' slides. Super fun!
Coop was jumpin' and clappin' and loved to put it on his head.

You can see the slip n' slide in the background.
Who knows what they use to dye the foam blue but it does dye your skin as well. It's all part of the fun!
Our little smurf!
