Miss Claire 3 months

I think this little girl is about the cutest thing I've ever seen!  However I might be slightly bias since I am her mother.  (This is also the reason there are so many pictures. :-)

I just adore the little girly details!

And for some odd reason I just love this picture!

And they're off!

My parents officially left for Russia today.  To be specific Novosibirsk, which happens to be the capital of Siberia.  We are so excited for them but will also miss them dearly for the next 18 months.

Here they are.
My mom is pointing to their hometown of Wenatchee, WA and my dad is pointing to their mission of Novosibirsk.  It will take them about 27 hours to get there.

Yesterday was our last day together.  We spent it enjoying the summer air and chatting while the kids played.  It was quite perfect.

My little model here.  She's so beautiful, even when she is sad.

Every time I look at this picture I tear up.  Couldn't ask for a better Mom and Grandma!

Crazy how much these kids will grow while they are gone.

We said our goodbyes.

And now we count the days till they get back.  Those Novosibirsk-ians are some lucky people!

Bike Riding

Since Daddy is home for the week, we decided to tackle the two-wheeler.

Safety first

Doing great with Daddy's help

Had a few hiccups but he got right back up.

 Proud Daddy
 So focused

And Carter spent the time with the grass

See you later Coop!

Gundy Family Reunion

This year we got together at Bear Lake for my cousins wedding.  We had a beautiful cabin and tons of fun activities to go along with it.

As incentives for cleaning up the cabin, the grandkids got to pick activities that involved "roughing up the uncles and aunts".  This one was putting lipstick on Uncle Broc.

This one was dropping a water balloon on Uncle Bret.

Honestly, there is no sugary treat that could compare to the coolness of getting to mess with your aunts and uncles.  Great idea Aunt Kathleen!

We also played a bunch of minute-to-win-it games that the grandkids continued to play long after the actual games were over.

The Gundy cookoff was Russian themed this year.  Only appropriate since my parents will be serving a mission there in a few short weeks.

The cousins put on a play...always very entertaining.

Lots of wildlife to play with.  The cute little chipmunks were so friendly that they ate right out of your hand.

The mini olympics was a huge hit.

When shooting off water balloons (for said mini olympics) one of them landed in the fire pit which led to...

this!
Ha ha, I'm still laughing.  It sprayed everyone within a ten foot radius with ash.
Grant didn't really mind, Carter wasn't too happy about it.

Somehow it got on Bret's teeth as well.

These were all the people who got sprayed...

...and it was all because of this little guy. :-)
