Burn the Floor

Caleb's mission buddy & his wife are touring the world in this show called Burn the Floor.  They just happened to be hitting Seattle at the perfect time for us to go with my parents.  Talk about A-mazing!  Really, the dancing was incredible.  If only we could dance like that...
*this is them pictured above, Ryan & Ashleigh Di lello.  They were also on So You Think You Can Dance together and made it to the finale.

Boys

I was bored today and decided to subject my boys to another photoshoot.
Take a look here if you want to see them all.

Ties

Thanks to a friend here in Seattle, I have learned how to make my own ties for the boys.  So cool!

Wenatchee

The boys and I visited Wenatchee again so Caleb could "focus" on sales.  Or at least that's the excuse I used to go visit my parents again :-)  We had a fantastic time as always, stuffed with lots of fun activities.  I'm not one for many words but I sure LOVE pictures so I'll let them tell the story.

Hike to Silver Falls

With a little fire and roasting after.
Coop loves to help Grandpa do anything and everything!

Coop hiked the entire hour and a half up the mountain.
I was soooo proud and he was sooooo tired!

Smallwoods
Cute little place with a petting zoo and tons of fun games for the little kids to do.
Coop loved feeding the animals.

Carter...not so much.  Look closely and you'll see his look of disgust!

County Fair
Got to do this once a year right?  Expensive, fatty foods and even more expensive rides.  Coop LOVED every bit of it.  He even did the bungee jump (bottom right).

Carter did like touching this fluffy rabbit.

Boating
So it was only 70 degrees outside and the water was even colder but put on a wet suit and it really wasn't bad.  I was so excited to get out on the board again!

ME

My super cool, 62 year old Dad

And my even cooler older brother Tyler.
Now he knows how to jump!
Coop & Carter had a good time too.

And here's my SUPER AMAZING 3-year old body-boarding behind the boat.
He's so willing to try everything!

Words by Carter

I love how Carter forms his lips when he says words

And Coop wanted his time in the spot light too.  One of his favorite songs, Called to Serve.

A Real Date Night

Not to say that the others haven't been a real date for us but this one was an actual "Dinner & a Movie" date.  We haven't had one of those in a long while.  But now that it's getting darker earlier we actually have time to do something more than dash to Taco Bell before it closes.
We've really been wanting to go to a Thai or Vietnamese restaurant (since there are 100's around here) so off we went to Pho Hoa restaurant.  It was good, nothing to shout about but not a waste of money either.  Then we headed to the $3 show and saw Karate Kid.  I thought it was cute although we both thought it was a little weird how young they were to be "falling in love".  Maybe we are just not "in" with the times.
Anyhow, as always, it was fun spending time with my favorite person!

Not just an Artist

But an artIst (pronounced are-teest :-)
Coop has been very into painting lately and I was particularly fond of these two paintings.

Rain, Rain Go Away...

...come again another day.
(Preferably when we aren't here.)
