The BoyS Room

Yes, that's right, "Coop's Room" has changed to "The BoyS Room" in order to get ready for the little miss coming in a few months.  I have been wanting to paint The BoyS Room since we moved in but it just took a little motivation (another baby) to actually get it done.  Plus we ordered a new bunk bed and it was just easier to paint before putting it up.  So here it is, the before...

The new bunk beds (I was super picky and actually surprised I found everything I wanted (i.e. trundle underneath, stairs instead of ladder, drawers in the stairs, dark color)

Sorry the pictures were horrible but I didn't get to take them while it was day and I had spent so much time cleaning up their room that I just had to make do with the flash.  Oh well, you get the picture.  We love it and the boys are psyched about their new bed!

Quick Trip

Our friends Jake and Jess were in Moab a few weekends ago and we decided to head up on a Saturday and join them.  We have driven through Moab numerous times but never stopped to enjoy it.  We hit up Arches National Park, did a little hike, dinner, and then home.  Check that one off our list.

Squinkies

Just one of the many things Carter is attached to.  He lines those things up, then puts them back in their little balls, then does it all over again.  I love his quirks! 

The Many Faces of Carter

This kid is chuck full of personality and now we have pictures to prove it.

I usually only take outside pictures but the weather wasn't cooperating and it was already 2 weeks past his birthday so I finally caved and did them in our newly finished basement.  I was still quite happy with the results. Happy 3rd birthday big guy!

He wasn't very happy that we weren't done yet. 

 But he got over it ;-)
