I think that's the name of a drink on the cruise ship but it rolled off the tongue nicely making a great title. Thanks to Caleb and his amazing sales abilities, we were able to go on a free cruise with his company Northstar Alarm to the bahamas, (kid free, thanks Mom & Dad!). What a great get-away it was! We took tons of pictures but here are just a few.
Day 1- The life boat drill
Day 2- Freeport, Bahamas
Unfortunately, Caleb and I both caught some sort of bug the night before and spent most of the day laying/sleeping on the beach recovering. Our friends Betty & Cam and Kate & Jeremy had fun building sand castles and such while we were passed out on the chairs.

Kate & Jeremy
Nearing the end of the day, we were feeling a bit better.

Betty & Cam
(I love this picture of them!)
This awesome pool was right off the beach. So cool to swim in it and see the ocean right there.
Formal night & the cute towel bunny.

Day 3- Nassau, Bahamas
We were all better this day (thank goodness!) and headed out to sail a catamaran & snorkel the reef. Not many pictures of this considering the activity!
All I can say is WOW, we look great ;-)
Halloween Night
By far my favorite night on the cruise. I LOVE Halloween and dressing up and apparently, so do alot of the Northstar Employees. We ruled the ship on costumes!

And although we placed 3rd in the contest, I decided we won the People's Choice Award considering the 20 or so pictures we took with random people on the ship and the standing ovations when we walked into rooms. Can't say I didn't love that ;-)
Day 4- On Boat
We spent this day relaxing on the Lido deck, playing a rousing game of shuffleboard, and hitting up the "Not so Newlywed Game". What a day!

Memories
3:00am room service calls for pb&j's; poppin' pills for motion sickness; the Incredibles; our server Panky; our one night of fame; Siamese mermaid; staying up till 3am; sleeping till 12pm; the 12 hour wait time at the airport; Caleb's interesting sunburn; our amazing costumes (yes, they were cool enough to mention 3 times)

PS While we were gone, Coop & Carter had a couple of firsts. As seen below, Coop had his first visit to the ER, unfortunately. He somehow got a hold of a peanut M&M which sent him into a full-on asthma attack plus rash. After some steroid shots (yes, we start them young) he was back to his happy self, charming all the nurses that came in the room. Carter received his first tooth. Thankfully, that was it for him. After alot of drama, I'm not sure my parents will ever be up for watching our kids again. Good thing we got in at least 1 cruise ;-)

It looks so fun! Glad you guys had a good time, poor Coop, glad he's okay now!
Wow Cas! That sounds amazing!! What an opportunity!! It looked like tons of fun. I can't believe Coop had to go to the ER while you were gone. I'm glad he's okay. I'm sure that was scary!
Loved it!
I got all excited just looking at the pictures! The trip sounds like it was a blast:)
How fun! I am so glad Northstar is treating you guys so good. We are considering selling alarms this next summer. We really wished we would have went out this last summer. The last cruise Michael and I went on when Logan was 10 months old we got sick. Lucky for us though we were sick the whole time. We really only enjoyed one day of the week long cruise. We were so sick we missed out on seeing Belize.
ahhh cruises...we LOVE cruises! Looks like you had a blast. Your poor boys! and poor parents!!
There are too many funny and cool things in this post to go through, so I will just sum it up by saying: Geez I miss you guys....You rule.
So jealous of your free vacation! I love the Halloween pics too- It takes some mad confidence to walk around in tights and underwear! You guys rocked it!
