Grandma and Grandpa Gundersen visited this past weekend. They visit wherever we go each summer and even though this year they only live 2.5 hours away, they still came up for a little weekend visit.
Horse Races @ Emerald Downs
I've always wanted to go to a horse race and so has my mom so we decided to hit up Emerald Downs that's only 15 minutes away. It was a really fun and exciting experience, even more so than I thought it would be.
I bet it'd be really exciting if we bet some money ;-)
Comin down the track
1st place
And the rest.
I took this picture just to show how little these jockeys are.
Waiting for the next race.
Cheesecake Factory
I always forget to take pictures of the actual food and cheesecake...guess I'm too busy devouring it!
Seattle Zoo
Feeding the giraffe.
Checking out the Jaguar

Just chillin
Wedding
Early Saturday morning we headed back to Wenatchee with my parents because I was doing a friends hair for her wedding. I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture of the finished product but here are some pics from the wedding.
Bridesmaids and Groomsmen danced down the aisle wearing aviator sunglasses which was very entertaining.

Cute flower girls and ring bearer.
I always like to look at the Groom when the bride is coming down the aisle because its always such a genuinely happy face.
A lot of times the back of the dress is just as pretty.
We threw leis at the the new couple after the ceremony and Cooper collected them ALL.
Some happy moments between Carter and Papa.
Unfortunately they were few and far between with this teething, grumpy little guy.
We always have fun with Grandma & Papa and we love that we can see them all the time here.

I think Caleb would make an awesome jockey. He'd only have to lose a few inches, right?
