We have had many requests for pictures of our apartment here in Mexico so here is the grand tour.
We live on the 5th floor, however the ground level is floor 8 so in order to get to our apartment you go down in the elevator. Still confuses me. This is what you see when you walk out to the left. We are the door that is open. There are 4 total doors on each floor. Our neighbors are super nice and we do do quite a few things with them. They have kids around the same ages as Coop and Carter.

The half bath is on the right.
Continue walking into the apartment and this is what you see. The family/tv room is straight ahead. The dining room is to the right...
Thanks to my dad we finally got all our pictures hung. I love the ceilings. I hate the floors. As pretty as they are, they show every little piece of dirt and scratch incredibly easy. Luckily I am not the one cleaning the floor...another reason I am grateful for our maid. :-)
Another view of the dining room from the tv room.
That whole opposite wall is windows from floor to ceiling. It leads to the balcony which overlooks the pool. The door you see leads into the kitchen...
...here you are stepping into the kitchen. I miss my old kitchen immensely however this one is not bad. It's just small. I can't have anyone else in there with me or I get claustrophobic.
An opposite view once you are in the kitchen. We had to buy the microwave, dishwasher, & fridge. There is very little storage space which is why we are forced to use the maids/quarters as storage as well. I'm pretty sure our maid thinks we are crazy for having so much food in our pantry.
(The door you just came in is on the left.)
You can see our water cooler there on the right. This is where all drinkable water comes from. We have it delivered every couple weeks. We have 10 of those jugs and try to keep 5 filled ones on hand at all times.
Connected to the kitchen is the laundry room/storage room/maids quarters (that we use as a pantry.)
There is also a teeny-tiny bathroom connected to this pantry photo on the right. The room is maybe big enough to just barely fit a twin size bed with no walking room. I can't imagine having someone live in it however as Caleb pointed out, even this is probably 10 times better than where they live.
Back out to the family/tv room.
You can see the hallway back there where the bedrooms are.
The master bedroom is the door on the left, the boys is on the right and around the corner you have the nursery (picture on the right).
Nursery.
This is the only room I haven't hung pictures in as I usually do all my stuff while Claire is sleeping. :-)
Every room has a bathroom connected to it. There are no bathtubs, only showers...boo!
I have the same amount of bathrooms here in this apartment as I do back in my house in Orem.
Now going into the boys room there is this long hallway (left) with their closet on the right (right) and their bathroom connected to it. The closets here are very big and spacious. They've been a life saver for storage.
We bought 3 rugs once we got here, this being one of them. It's just not homey without some carpet.
The master
Hallway into the room with the closet on the left and bathroom attached
Apparently they do not believe in cupboards or drawers here, just one shelf. So you can see ALL our bathroom stuff...and so can Claire. It's very annoying!
Notice the chair on the left is actually the end part of our couch sectional that wouldn't fit in the family room
:-)

So that's it. It's a very nice, new apartment. It's very well kept. We love our area. It's very safe and has double security. Our building's security guards are very nice and patient with me. Cooper's school is across the street from the complex. And to top it off, almost everyone I have met in our building speaks English. As great as that is, I am still really trying to learn Spanish as I would like to be able to keep up whenever they start talking to each other.

The apt is beautiful! And having a toddler, I can't imagine having all my bathroom things out on display for Eve to rummage through. Very annoying! I'm so impressed with how well you guys have seemed to make the adjustment. Moving is one thing, but moving to another country with a different language? Wow! Good for you, Cassi!
