There were a few things we had to do differently for Easter here in Mexico. First, there are no egg dye kits so I searched on pinterest for a new way. Piping hot eggs colored with crayons. It was really fun and so much less messy. I think we may do this every year now. We all really enjoyed it!
Easter is not a big holiday here, its not even commercialized at Wal-mart so finding eggs and baskets was a little difficult. I ended up finding these $1 bags at Walmart which worked out fine. And Costco came to the rescue with pre-filled eggs. Definitely a lot more pricey than buying plastic eggs back home but they worked.

They searched for their "baskets" after church. We put some mexican candy in there...it went straight to the trash after one bite. Candy is NOT supposed to be spicy (i.e. chile is in a lot of it)!
Traditional swimsuits from Grandma & Grandpa.
Love them as usual!
Then we got together with some friends here in our ward for an egg hunt.
Claire thought it was fun to pick up eggs and put them in her friend Abby's basket.
