Two weekends ago, we headed out to St Louis on a weekend getaway, just the two of us. It was Caleb's 10 year high school reunion and we were lucky enough to have my parents come and stay with the boys. I was awful at taking pictures (weird, I know) but here are just a few. We arrived there Saturday afternoon and headed straight from the airport to a Cardinals baseball game where, thanks to Caleb's sister-in-law, we had amazing seats and free food. I'll be a baseball fan any day if I get that treatment! We then headed to Caleb's high school reunion where he spent a good 4 hours talking to old friends (I call him my little social butterfly :-) while I spent it talking with a great friend from Utah (Caleb's best friend's wife, what a lifesaver!) Once things started getting a little crazy (after 4 hours of open bar, its bound to) we headed out to Ted Drewe's for some awesome frozen custard and then talked it up with our good friends Teddy and Scott. It was a great kid-free weekend and so nice to visit with Caleb's brother and family.
My parents sent us some pictures while we were gone. It may have only been 2 days away from the boys but I sure LOVED seeing these pictures while in St. Louis

how fun to go on a getaway...but I'm scared to do anything like that. I am laughing at myself cuz we just went to the doc and were gone for 3 hours and Jada was asleep when we left, so I hadn't seen her since I put her to bed. All the way home I was telling Jas how much I missed her and I was talking about all her kisses and the cute things she does and then he started missing her...I haven't spent a night away from her and just get sick at the thought. Someday I know a break will be a must, but just not yet. Maybe just before the triplets come, as a last chance for sanity :D and I can't wait to see what they look like either! I hope like Jas!
