Coop had his first day of preschool this week. Its actually a joy school I'm doing with my sister and 3 other women. I looked into some other preschools and there were a couple reasons they didn't fit right for me. 1) Call me cheap, but I don't want to pay $1000 for my child's pre-school. I'm waiting till he gets into college before I start paying for his schooling. 2) I went to 4 years of college to become an elementary school teacher so I can't justify paying someone else to do it. 3) All the preschools I found were 3 days a week and I just couldn't stand to be away from him for that long. Two days is hard enough! (Give me a break, he's my first!)
Of course I had to get a picture of him. He looks so tall in this picture. He's a good head taller than the other 3 boys in joy school. Just like his Daddy!
He was super excited and loved every minute of it.

What a fun time of life. He is growing up. Of course, I don't think you are cheap - I would have done the same thing. You must be my daughter:)
We did Joy School for Kaden last year. I really liked it. This year I'm trading piano lessons for pre-school. There was no way I was going to pay for pre-school either. But trading didn't seem so bad.
I am so with you on this one. I had the exact same three thoughts when it came to Cole. Too much $, I have a degree in this, and I am not ready to let him "go" yet. Surprisingly I haven't had a Kinder melt down yet, but I still anxiously await the hour of the day when he is all mine again. First grade is gonna be rough :( Coop looks ADORABLE and I can see why three days away from that 'lil man would be out of the question :)
