So my good looking friends so graciously let me take their pictures this past weekend. This place we took them at is AMAZING! We call it the gardens and we've gone there to have picnics the past two Sundays. The place is huge and its just full of flowered pathways, fountains, ponds, and big open areas of grass. It sure helps out your pictures when the scenery is so pretty!
This is my good friend Brooke, her husband Chase, and little Ady. They are such a cute family! And I just love the colors they were wearing! Makes for very vibrant pictures.

And these are our other good friends Kate & Jeremy (actually, the brother of Chase above). They are a gorgeous couple. I have to say that not one of the pictures I took of them looked bad...such photogenic people!

Oh, my gosh, Cassi!!! Your first official photo shoot looks like this?! You are incredibly talented -so professional. You've got a great eye for lighting, framing, posing, color, etc. It looks like you chose a great time of day. I love the first photo with the sun shining through. And you did a great job on the vintage/sepia edit of the couple against the tree. And I love the bw edit and posing on the one beneath with his arms around her. That one looks like it belongs in a magazine. Okay, I could go on and on, because I actually love ALL of them! I'm so proud of you. Keep up the good work! But from now on, start charging your clients, because these photos are worth paying for. Your friends are very lucky!
Ok, so apparently I don't have your email anywhere, so I guess I'll just continue this conversation through comments. I'm glad that you like your camera, because we actually just purchased a rebel, too. I've heard the xti is a good camera, but we decided that the xs would be a good fit for us. And, coincidentally Chris really wants to buy a fixed length portrait lens, and it sounds like you have found a good one at a good price. So, you'll have to let me know what brand and where to get it. By the way, the pictures do look great. I wish we lived near so you could take our pictures, too!
I didn't know you were into photography. The pictures look great! Want to come to Vancouver to take ours? We would love to have you any time!! We are trying to plan a trip to Wenatchee sometime this month.
