When we were engaged, I went out to visit Caleb in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He surprised me while I was there and took me to Chicago where we had a fun filled day going to an aquarium, seeing a professional soccer game, and going to Wicked. Before the show, we went to a place called Sullivan's Steakhouse. It was there that I first experienced the goodness of steak! So Caleb, being the romantic that he is, found us a Sullivan's Steakhouse here in Indy and surprised me with a night out for our 4th Anniversary. Because of a little miscommunication, we were the only ones seated in the dining room so it turned out to be just a romantic dinner for 2. The appetizers were interesting (didn't know that a "bisque" was just cold soup), the filets were beyond delicious, and the key lime pie dessert was to die for. Such a great night!
No one else here...great for us!
Before we headed out.
And we can't forget to mentiont the gifts! So Caleb and I follow the "Traditional Anniversary Gift Ideas" (you can google it to find out what yours would be). This year's theme was fruit and flowers. Caleb surprised me with a "flowery" dress (complete with rose petals leading to the closet, our song playing, and a slideshow of us pictures).

I got him an "Edible Arrangement" consisting of fruit cut into flowers and arranged into a beautiful bouquet. Not only was it beautful, but it was soooooo tasty!

And lastly, every year I try to make a mini-version of our wedding cake. I think I've gotten a bit better since our first anniversary HA! Feel free to laugh because I totally am!

Ahaha, that is too funny. I wasn't sure what you were laughing about until I scrolled down and saw the 2nd cake picture. :)
Remember me?? Lolly's friend. I don't think I've seen you since you were pregnant with your first! Wow! Jeff and I just celebrated our 4th and I got us an edible arrangement, because of the tradition gift giving theme.
