Well, it's been an interesting 5 days. The first couple were spent in the hospital, just lounging and recooperating. The next 2 were not so easy since Carter decided he didn't want to nurse or sleep (which every mother knows is an awful combination). At that point I wasn't sure what I had gotten myself into. And then yesterday he changed his mind again, nursed perfectly, and slept 5 1/2 hours in the night. That's more like it! Here are some more pics of the little guy. We call him our little tea pot because once he warms up, he really squeals :-)

Cassi, he is too cute. I see Cooper in him by looking at his mouth. He is so precious. I hope he starts sleeping a little better. Caleb, I love the outfit.
I am so scared for the no sleeping part of being a new mommy with a toddler.
I thought he was going to be your little tea pot because in the first picture he has one arm up and one arm down like in the song. It's even better that he squeals when he's all warmed up. lol.

Congrats! I knew you'd be going soon! He is cute and I'm so excited for you! I've got 6 1/2 weeks left and am feeling good. Going to Wenatchee tomorrow for a shower - that will be so fun! Thanks for posting pictures - love them, Berg
