New York, New York

Over Presidents' Day Weekend, we hopped a flight to New York to visit Caleb's sister who recently moved there. Caleb had never been so it was fun seeing all the sights of New York.

.

The first few subway rides were a bit confusing but we got the hang of it after a while.

The Statue of Liberty
.

The Today Show

(Yes, we did get our 15 minutes of fame...ok, so it was only 2 seconds. To see it go to my family's blog at gundersenfamily.blogspot.com and scroll to TV Star Relatives. You can see in the pics below that Meredith did come and see Cooper for a sec, it was just off camera)

.

A street artist. I must admit that when he started we thought He must be new, this isn't very good. But as you can see, the final product was amazing and it was all done with Spray paint.

.

The Empire State Building

As you can see, Coop enjoyed the view ;-)

The delayed flight home

He was smiling at every person who passed our seat. He didn't care that our orginal flight had been canceled making us pay $70 to transfer to another airport, making us leave 3 hours later...but he did care after 3 hours on this flight that I did not have enough food for him. That's when the 4 1/2 hour flight seemed like 4 1/2 days for both us and the people around us. Dang Delta!

Fun Memories in New York

(in order) World Trade Center site, Caramel Apple Ciders every day (super cold!), The Lion King on Broadway, Times Square, NY Hot Dogs, Subway rides, fun with Dad, Grand Central Station, NY Temple and chapel where we attended church.

.
What a great little traveler!

We love New York!

those pictures of him on the plane are great. Too bad about your delay. a crying baby on the plane is the worst. I go nuts! Looks like you had a great trip. how fun!

How fun! I want to go visit New York again. My brother lives there right now, but I can't convince Wade to go and visit.
